It collects building permit records from Florida county and municipal building departments to give a dated, permit backed roof age for every home it tracks, pairs that with property and homeowner data from official county records, and puts a CRM, routes and canvassing, and territory management on top so a crew can act on it.

The company is based in Jupiter, FL and works Florida first: these counties, these permit offices, these roofs. Depth here comes before breadth anywhere else.

The founder

Jesse DeLuca is the founder of ReroofGen, Inc. He spent years as a real estate professional before moving into roofing, and pairs that field experience with a builder's passion for software: the three threads that led him to found ReroofGen and put permit backed roof data in the hands of roofing sales teams.

He built the first version for his own team and still runs the company as an operator, which is why the product is measured in doors knocked and roofs closed rather than in dashboards. Guides on this site carry his byline, and the data behind them is published as open data so anyone can check it.

The data, measured

As of September 4, 2026, ReroofGen holds a dated roof record for 1,977,674 of the 7,017,971 single family homes it tracks across all 67 Florida counties, and 275,977 of those dated roofs are 15 or more years old. 8 counties are measured at 40% coverage or better today: Palm Beach, Orange, Duval, Volusia, Manatee, St. Lucie, Seminole, St. Johns. Every other county is still being dated, and the site says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate.

Those figures are published monthly in the Florida Roof Age Index and on every county page with their as of date. Where coverage is still building, the site says so. A coverage gap is a gap, not an empty market, and it is never filled with an estimate dressed up as a record.

How we work

Permit records are treated as evidence, and build year as a labeled upper bound, never as a confirmed date. Homeowner data is public record used to decide whether a conversation is worth having and to have it with the right person; it is not sold onward. Features are described on this site only once they are live, with one exception, direct mail automation, which is in development and says so.
