Frequently asked questions

How do I know a roof age is real and not a modeled guess?

Every roof age is built from a finalized roof permit: the actual completion date, roof type, permit number, and issuing jurisdiction. Each home carries a confidence level and the rationale for the selected date, so a rep sees exactly why a roof reads the age it does instead of trusting a black box score. Where no permit exists, ReroofGen never invents one; it surfaces the strongest property evidence available and labels it plainly.

How accurate and trustworthy is the data?

ReroofGen cross references multiple independent, authoritative sources rather than relying on any single feed, then reconciles them into one clean record per home. On the data we have, property and roof records run 90%+ accuracy and refresh from current records, with the strongest results where property data and finalized permits both exist for a home. Every data point ties back to verifiable evidence, so your team can trust what it acts on and knows exactly how confident to be.

How do you handle permits across different counties and cities?

Roof permits are issued by both municipalities and counties, so we collect from every relevant jurisdiction and tune each one to how it publishes its records. When a jurisdiction has gaps or does not publish a given permit, the home falls back to the strongest available property context rather than a fabricated date, and your team can still work it on every other signal.

Beyond roof age, what can reps actually target on?

You can filter the map by owner occupancy (owner occupied vs. absentee), whether a home carries a mortgage (useful for financing readiness), gated community status, year built, square footage, and property value, layered on top of roof age tiers. That lets a team build a precise list, such as owner occupied homes with 15 plus year roofs and no gate, instead of knocking blind.

How do reps run territories and routes in the field?

ReroofGen is map first. Managers draw or filter a territory, save it as a list, and assign it to a rep. Routes are built from those lists and deployed to a specific rep with a date and due window. Reps run them on mobile with the full roof and property context on the door, drop dispositions as they go, and a live route view keeps the day moving. That roof and property context travels with the rep instead of staying back at the office.

Does field activity flow back to managers and the CRM?

Yes. Door dispositions update each lead's lifecycle stage, notes and follow up tasks sync into the CRM, and managers watch movement across the pipeline funnel. Canvassed homes carry disposition colored status on the map, so the team can see what has been worked and what is left at a glance.

How do multistep outreach campaigns work?

Email and direct mail automation is in development and is not yet available to customers. When it opens, you will build a sequence of touches across direct mail and email, and edit each touch's channel, timing (in business days), and creative. Merge tokens personalize every piece and adapt to the channel, and a sequence can stop automatically on a booked appointment. Direct mail renders print ready and bleed correct with real send date scheduling. Campaigns auto theme to your brand from your org profile, and you can save your own templates to reuse across the team.

How do we control direct mail spend and avoid accidental live sends?

Outreach is not yet available to customers. When it opens, it runs against a campaign wallet with a spend cap, and every campaign passes a checkout and approval step before anything physically mails. You can dry run a campaign first, schedule the live send for a specific date, and pause a campaign to cancel any pending mail, so a team never burns budget by mistake.

How does ReroofGen keep outreach compliant?

Outreach enforces a hard quiet hours floor, nothing sends outside 9am to 9pm local, and captures express written consent attestation at signup, with opt out handling built in. Every channel is built the same way, compliance, consent, and approved workflows first, before it opens to customers.

Does ReroofGen replace my CRM, and can I export my data?

ReroofGen is the tool that fills your CRM. It is where reps find, qualify, and work the homes worth knocking, so what reaches your CRM is a real opportunity with roof age, property context, and door history already attached instead of a raw address. Most teams keep their companywide CRM and let ReroofGen feed it. You can export leads and property lists any time to move that data wherever you want, subject to your plan limits and permissions.

How do seats, roles, and pricing work?

Plans are per seat and monthly, no contract, cancel anytime, with annual billing available to save 17%. Org admins invite reps and confirm each added seat, and roles control who can see and do what. Owners and admins govern their account's data and activity, and reps work inside that account. Enterprise adds guided setup and a dedicated account and campaign manager.

Where do you cover today, and how fast can we start?

ReroofGen opens in Florida first, with roof and property data across the state's core counties, then expands nationwide. Join the waitlist and request your market and we will prioritize it. Once you are in, most teams are running the same week after a focused market, users, templates, and workflow are set up, and Team and Enterprise plans include guided onboarding.

What's coming next?

Email and direct mail automation. It is in development and we are not naming a date yet. When it opens, it ships into the same workflow your team already uses: build the list from roof age and homeowner data, then run the follow up sequence from that same list, with no separate tool to learn.
